Ceramic granite is a very long-lasting and hard man-made material, very similar to natural stone. It does not contain granite, but they are similar in physical properties. It was created at the end of the 20th century. It is baked at a temperature of 1200-1300 ° C after being obtained by semi-dry pressing from a press powder under a pressure of 400-500 kg / cm². Pressed powder, in turn, is obtained from slip, which is a mixture of carefully homogenized raw materials: white baked clays and kaolin, quartz sand, feldspar and pegmatite, from water. Ceramic granite originally appeared as a tile designed for technical use, used for flooring in rooms with significant loads, such as public spaces and industrial buildings. Over the past 15 years, new types of tiles have been added. Ceramic granite is used in the following areas: in the decoration of modern buildings and structures, as a finishing material, in facade and interior decoration, in the construction of floors and walls. Only for the installation of ceramic granite, it is necessary to seek help from specialized specialists.
